The Appeal (by John Grisham)

Q. Why did you choose this book?
A. I’m a big fan of John Grisham’s courtroom novels.

Q. Did you like the story?
A. The concept was interesting, but the story seemed to drag.

Q. Were the characters believable?
A. Yes, unfortunately. That’s the frightening part of the story.

Q. Did you like the writing style?
A. Grisham’s writing is immensely readable.

Q. Did you think about the book when you were doing other things?
A. Never once.

Q. Was there anything about the book that drove you nuts?
A. No.

Q. How did you feel when you finished the book?
A. I wished I’d waited for the paperback version and saveds some money.

Q. Will you keep the book to reread later?
A. No. “Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.”

Q. Any final thoughts about the book?
A. The Appeal wasn’t all that appealing.
