Double Cross (by James Patterson)

Q. Why did you choose this book?
A. I chose it because I've read just about everything James Patterson has written, and he's never let me down.

Q. Did you like the story?
A. Yes. It kept me interested from the first page until the end.

Q. Were the characters believable?
A. The villains were a little "over the top," but then so were real-life serial killers John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer.

Q. Did you like the writing style?
A. As always, Patterson's writing is excellent.

Q. Did you think about the book when you were doing other things?
A. Yes. I worried about the safety of (main character) Alex Cross's family, and needed to read quickly to reassure myself that they were okay.

Q. Was there anything about the book that drove you nuts?
A. Not a thing.

Q. How did you feel when you finished the book?
A. I felt a little disappointed that one of the mysteries in the story wasn't resolved. It will apparently be addressed in a sequel, but I'd really like to know what happened now.

Q. Will you keep the book to reread later?
A. I've kept all the other James Patterson books, so I might as well save this one, too.

Q. Any final thoughts about the book?
A. I hope he hurries up with the sequel.
